Daily routine of afghan women
The daily routine of afghan women differs from the daily life of the afghan men immensely. The males are expected to work in order to provide money and shelter for the family, whereas, the Afghan females are left to do housework and perform other basic tasks throughout the day.
The women of Afghanistan are not permitted to leave the house if not under their husband’s consent. If their husband approved of them leaving the house, they were able to buy fresh produce which they then used to cook supper for the family.
Afghan women are expected to take care of their children, cook for the household and clean the house. If they’re particularly lucky, they are allowed to weave, sew and in some areas, make rugs and felt.
Only a small number of afghan girls are allowed to go to school, so those who do not attend school help their mothers with household chores.
